Hi there!
I am Nicole Borbone, a New York City based actor and a graduate of Fordham University's 2020 Theatre Performance class. In addition, I trained at Academia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Tuscany in commedia dell’Arte and cirque performance, developing my love for physical comedy and clowning. During my last six years in NYC, I have had the pleasure of working on projects such as: workshops and readings of new and developing plays and musicals, devised dance and movement pieces, comedic and horror indie short films and performing in the critically acclaimed haunted house, Blood Manor, New York Times feature. I am passionate about creating and engaging in work that drives me to take risks and that inspires audiences into reflection and action.
Additionally, I am a New York based choreographer, arts educator and recent graduate of NYU's Educational Theatre MA program. I have worked with companies such as Neighborhood Playhouse Jr. School, TADA! Youth Theater, Broadway Bound Kids, Sandbox Theatre, bergenPAC, and the Helen Hayes Youth Theater teaching physical theatre (movement, clowning, improv) and dance, and directing and/or choreographing student performances. I am the resident choreographer for the annual musical at Bank Street School for Children and I offer private/group lessons or parties upon request. Currently, I am the Movement and Monologue Teacher at Fair Playhouse and the Movement II Teacher at Rosie's Theater Kids at PPAS.
